Placing Background Images
To customize your album according to your preferences, you can use your own images and photos. This article explains in detail how to upload, manage, and place these images in your album.
Managing Images
Background Tab in the Sidebar
In the Background menu, you can upload and manage your own images to design the backgrounds of your album, in addition to the stickers. Please note that the images in the background menu are intended solely for background design in the album.
This menu should not be confused with the Sticker menu, where you upload images for the sticker pictures.
Uploading Your Own Images
To upload images into the designer, you have the following options:
- Upload Button: Click the upload button, select the desired files from the appropriate folder, and click "Open." This allows you to upload multiple images at once and use them immediately in your album.
- Drag-and-Drop: Select the desired files/images from the appropriate folder and drag them with the left mouse button onto the free space below "Own Images." This method is especially convenient for quickly adding multiple images.
Browsing Images
If you have uploaded many of your own images, the Background tab in the sidebar helps you keep track of them. By clicking the magnifying glass, you can search your photos by name or description. This is particularly useful when managing a large number of images and quickly finding a specific one.
Deleting Images
To delete images that have already been uploaded and are no longer needed, click on the image and then click the red trash can button. A confirmation prompt ensures that you don’t accidentally delete any images. Deleting unneeded images keeps your overview clean and prevents clutter in the background tab.
Editing Images
Placing Images in the Album
You can easily place your own images in the album using drag-and-drop:
- Drag-and-Drop: Click on the desired image and drag it with the left mouse button to the desired position in the album. Once you release the mouse button, the image will be placed at the chosen location.
- Replace Existing Images: If you drag an image onto an already existing image in the album, the existing image will be replaced by the new one. This allows for quick and easy updates to your album pages.
- Freely Place Images: You can also drop your images freely at any desired spot in the album. This enables you to customize your pages and integrate the images into your design perfectly.
Moving and Resizing Images
By clicking on the image, you activate the blue editing frame:
- Move Image: Use the mouse to easily move the image to the desired position. This allows precise placement of images on your page.
- Resize and Rotate: By clicking on the corners of the blue editing frame, you can resize or rotate the image. This feature allows you to adjust the images perfectly to fit the layout of your album.
Bringing Images to Front/Back
Using the "Move Forward" or "Move Backward" functions, you can move your image to the front or the back of the album:
- Front: Bring the image to the front to place it over other objects, such as text or stickers. This is useful when you want to highlight certain images.
- Back: Move the image to the back to overlay other objects above it. This allows you to create a decorative background that won’t be covered by other elements.
Scaling the Image Content
You can further adjust the content of the image within the blue frame:
- Activate the Blue Frame: Click on the image to activate the blue editing frame. This allows you to move and scale the image.
- Activate Scaling Mode: By double-clicking the image again, you activate scaling mode (green frame). In scaling mode, you can further adjust the content of the image.
- Adjust Content: Hold the left mouse button to move and resize the image content. This feature helps you focus on the important part of the image.
- Finish Editing: Click on the free drawing area (e.g., next to the album) to complete the image editing. Your image will now be displayed as you wish.
