Managing Pages
Your album starts with a cover, a back cover, and double pages based on the layout you selected. Here’s how you can edit and create pages in your album.
Types of Pages Explained
Your album begins with the front cover and ends with the back cover, both together forming the album's binding. The cover is the first page that your viewers will see, making it the perfect place to introduce the style and theme of your album. The back cover concludes the album, and can also be customized to create a harmonious ending.
Between the cover and the back cover, you'll find double pages, each assigned to a chapter. These chapters provide structure to your album and help you organize your content thematically. Each double page is strictly linked to one chapter, but a chapter can consist of multiple double pages, depending on the scope and depth of the content.
Creating and Managing Double Pages
At the top and bottom of each page, you’ll find the page menu. It shows the page numbers, chapter names, and a page toolbar, which offers various options for managing your pages.
Through the page toolbar, you can:
- Move the current double page: Rearrange the order of your content by moving the double page up or down to ensure a logical sequence.
- Duplicate the current double page: Duplicate a double page when you want to use the same layout or similar content across multiple pages without having to redesign everything.
- Delete the current double page: Remove a double page that you no longer need.
- Insert a blank page: Click the + button at the bottom of a double page to add a blank page that you can design individually.
Designing Pages
You can design each page in your album to your liking. You have two main options: use our layouts or use the element toolbar on the right side of the screen to fully customize your pages.
Layouts
Our layouts offer a variety of design templates that you can apply to existing or blank pages. These layouts provide a structured and visually appealing foundation that you can further personalize. Layouts are particularly useful when you want to achieve a professional and consistent look. You will learn more about how to use layouts effectively in a later article.
Element Toolbar
With the features of the element toolbar on the right, you can add different elements to your pages. These include text boxes, shapes, and sticker areas. These elements allow you to design your pages and creatively present your personal stories and memories.
To create an element, simply click the corresponding button in the toolbar. You can also drag and drop (holding the left mouse button) the elements to your desired position. Each element can be customized individually:
- Texts: Create text boxes where you can add your stories, descriptions, or titles. You can choose the font, size, and color, as well as text styles like bold, italic, and underline.
- Shapes: Use shapes such as circles, squares, and lines to structure and highlight your pages visually.
With these versatile design options, you can craft each page exactly as you envision, turning your album into a unique piece of art that captures your personal memories and stories in a special way.
